Great risotto pan!
I bought this for my husband, he loves cooking risotto and this pan does an excellent job. A bit pricey, worth every penny!
Best Risotto Pan!
As an Italian it has been so hard to find the perfect Risotto pan until I came across the Lagostina risottiera. It is the perfect width to make risotto for myself and my family, and the lid doubles as a trivet! so fashionable and great stock piece!

Best risotto pan
This is the best thing I have ever seen. It is really high-quality and it shows it. It is pretty heavy and so well-made, you know you are going to cook the best food even before using it. It heats evenly and fast and keep the food warm until you're ready to eat. Although you can't put the lid in the dishwasher it's pretty easy to clean. It's a pleasure to prepare and serve food with Lagostina risotto pan. I got the product to sample and give my honest opinion.

Loved the Risotto pan!!
I loved the Risotto pan. It is a beautiful, excellent quality pan. I have used the pan for making risotto's, stews, soups, and other rice dishes. This pan heats up evenly and swiftly and is easy to clean. I did receive the Risotto pan as a sample. I feel the quality is solid and the price point fair. I would definitely purchase this pan for myself or for a great gift for a wedding or house warming.

Awesome casserole pot!
I've never owned a pot for strictly risotto, didn't know there was such a thing as I don't make risotto. The pot was described as a casserole dish and I used it as such. I've used the martellata risotto pot to make baked macaroni, potatoes au gratin, and randomly used it for baked bruss sprouts. When making Mac and cheese in my reg pyrex dish, I have to rotate the pan for even baking. It wasn't necessary with the martellata risotto pot. I also forgot to spray the pot before baking, and expected the noodles to stick. Not so. Every last noodle came out. Loved the handles- made for easy removal from the oven. The lid is wooden and not for use in the oven or dishwasher. The directions weren't super helpful (just pictures) and so I *think* it's ok to use the lid as a trivet. I consider a risotto pot a luxury item, but it definitely took my bacon Mac up a notch. Love it! I received the martellata pot in exchange for this review.

Great speciality cookware
This pan is a great addition to your kitchen if you love to make risotto or other rice based dishes. It is very sturdy and will cook your meal evenly. It has a very attractive appearance and is easy to clean. The lid is wood so it can't be used on the stovetop or in the oven, but it really helps in achieving fluffy rice perfection by helping to keep the steam in at the end when it is removed from the burner. I would have liked to see more than the one recipe included in the booklet, but it is very easy to find great risotto recipes online. Having this in my kitchen inspires me to be more creative and make risotto dishes bursting with flavor to share with my family. I received this product as a sample in exchange for my review.
