We like them simple understated and versatile enough to look good with everything from t-shirts to button-downs just like these Men's 11" Traditional Fit Comfort First Knockabout Chino Shorts. The soft fabric has built-in stretch for comfort that lasts all day and has plenty of give. We've also triple-washed them for a broken-in look and feel so they're never stiff or tight. Five-pocket styling means you have plenty of storage space for essentials and they run straight through the hip and thigh.

Just as good as Polo Shorts for much less

I bought these and Polo Shorts at the same time. I like them both. They aren’t identical, the fabric and feel is different. Both fit with my pants waist measurement (33) But the Lands End were FAR CHEAPER than the Polo shorts. The Lands end fabric feels softer to the touch, not that it matters. Both fine, but you don’t always need to pay more to get something good.

NOT TRUE TO SIZE

ORDER SIZE 38 WAIST. THESE SHORTS COME THROUGH A SIZE SMALLER. SO I WOULD RECCOMEND ORDERING A SIZE LARGER THAN WHAT YOU ARE.

Good length on great shorts

I purchased two pairs of these shorts, hoping they'd fit and that the fabric weight and length of shorts was what I liked. They fit true, are a nice medium weight of cotton. I would love to see another short of similar measurements made in a heavier cotton material. My only regret is not trusting myself and purchasing more pairs in other colors; once I wore these and went back online most choices of the shorts were gone or not being made anymore?
