Uneven shade appears lopsided

The bottom of the lampshade is uneven. Due to its size, it's very noticeable and looks lopsided from every angle. I consider myself handy but can't correct the issue by easily bending it as it is quite stiff. Which does speak to the quality. It is a brighter white than I expected.
