Gorgeous color but TOO short

I tried three of these in two different sizes before I found one (sized up to XXL) that seemed vaguely long enough on my long torso, 5'9" frame. I realize that all of Ralph's sweaters this year were shorter to work well with the wider on-trend jeans, but when the body of the sweater is average sized, then made short to boot, there is nothing to do except size up, and that size may not flatter your figure as much as a smaller size. In no shape or form did any of the sweaters I tried on look like the model's sweater - she must be an XS modeling a Medium or a Large. Frankly, another inch in length would not have killed anyone, and the sweater absolutely would have draped better. The gold color is so perfect, not garish gold, lovely and versatile, ideal to wear with jeans, black velvet, nearly anything you would like - but the length was daunting.
