Beautiful until chipped after two weeks

I was really excited to purchase this tea kettle and love Le Creuset - but after two weeks of daily use the side of it is already chipped. I didn't bump it into anything and was surprised when I heard the sound of piece fall off after setting it down on the stove top. I really like the kettle just wish it was better quality for the money spent. Very disappointed and really hopping it doesn't continue to chip

Good kettle

So far, so good. We've purchased several Le Creuset products in the past and liked the look of this kettle. It heats quickly, but the charm of the whistle gets old quickly.

Beautiful!

I purchased this tea kettle for my daughter who recently remodeled her kitchen. This was just what she wanted, with the brass accents. We have always used Le Creuset tea kettles as they really stand up to high heat of a gas stovetop. And they are beautiful in so many lovely colors. They last forever, too!
