Buyer beware if you buy and return on line - not L

Can’t get my money credited back to my account for earrings that I returned over three weeks ago. Gotten different stories from chat and from talking to customer service person. I bought the earrings but I decided they were too big and returned them via UPS via Macy’s return instructions. As of today I am now told I may get my money in a couple more weeks as it is a large sum of money. I bet Macys wouldn’t wait 5-6 weeks to get their money. I was going to purchase some items on line but right now I won’t as they have too much of my money and no more until this is reaolves
