    I would definitely buy again.

Nice challenge for my 6 year old who's struggling with words. (The fly swatters are fun to use on everything!)

    I would highly recommend.

Got this game for my first grader who is a slower reader. She's loving it, and has taken it to her aftercare program where all the kids around her age absolutely love. I definitely think it is helping with her speed and fluency. The quality is excellent, the swatters nice and robust and the flies made of really thick cardboard.

A fast-paced SPOT & SWAT (sight word) game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How much fun to have a swarm of flies (with words on them) and a miniature fly swatter! This game as 5 different level of sight (Dolch) words ranging from Pre-Primer level up to Third grade level. The various levels are designated by a different color of flies for each level. An adult calls out the words (flies are laying out in front of all players (1-4) and the first person to locate and swat the word first, wins the card. The player having the most card wins. The only difficulty I see in playing this game is if the players are not on/or about the same level of reading ability. The ability level needs to be somewhat similar in order that each player has a fair shot at winning. This is an excellent way to practice quick word recognition without the use of boring flash cards. Who wouldn't enjoy swatching at the flies???

    Engaging sight word game

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. I liked how this activity had 5 sight word levels. A huge benefit of this activity is that you can complete it with students at all levels. Another pro of this activity was that the cards were double sided. It would be helpful if there were more swatters. This educational activity can be played with more than 4 players. The students were highly engaged and understood the game very quickly.

    Fun game for emerging readers

I played this with my 5 year old son. He will enter kindergarten in the fall and is an emerging reader. I liked how the cards were leveled by color so that we could start with basic words. I think it would be more fun if other children his age or reading level played with him/us because with the two of us, it was mostly him finding the words...not really a game. I think this would be excellent in a small group at school as an alternative to flash cards or lists of words.

Highly Engaging! Super Fun! Great for all learning styles!!

I recently purchased this game for my first grade classroom! I bought it as a "Word Work" center, but it has turned into so much more. I have a college-aged volunteer who comes into my classroom on Mondays and Fridays. She plays it with my students in small groups. It's a huge hit with general education students, as well as my special needs students. It's a highly engaging, interactive way to reinforce all 220 Dolch sight words. I highly recommend this game for all K-2 classrooms!
