Solidly built, quick, and compact
This ThinkPad E14 has nice and sturdy construction (more solidly built than most laptops), and the compact size is ideal for my needs. Plus, I like having the physical buttons on the trackpad. The Core 7 processor is fast for every task I do, including imaging/video and audio editing. The ThinkPad series isn't cheap, but IMO, it's well worth the price.

New ThinkPad E14 Gen7 Intel
I ordered this particular new personal computer because I am close to retiring. It replaces similar one that I've been using at work for many years. So far, I've been very impressed with all the features. The price was marked down, so I jumped at the chance to get it.

poor performance
The performance is much poorer than I was expecting. I had a 4-years old Dell i5 and this new computer has basically the same performance I had before, even worse when processing large power BI files for instance. The performance is worse during the 5-10 minutes after launch.
