King size significantly not true to size

I just bought the Sophia king size quilt and have washed it and was ready to put it on my bed when I noticed a significant size difference. Confused, I didn’t know if I was sent the wrong size, so I got my tape measure out and measured the width and length. The Sophia quilt measured significantly smaller than what a king size should be and what is advertised as the size, on their website. Instead of 92 by 106 inches, it’s 82 inches by 103 inches. I can take into consideration that there will be some shrinkage, like the width losing 3 inches which is still more than I would like, but the length, losing 10 whole inches is ridiculous and must be a defect. I am giving this 3 stars because I absolutely love the pattern and the color on the opposite size, the weight is perfect for a summer quilt, which is why I bought it. The only problem I have with it is it is significantly not true to the size it claims. This size would be good for a queen, but if you are looking for the larger size of the king, this will definitely fall short and look misplaced on your king. That being said, I am still going to keep it, since we are remodeling our third bedroom and I could probably us it in there, and I am pretty sure since it was washed, it can’t be returned. It is very disappointing, especially since I have been mulling over this purchase for several months before I decided to take a chance and buy this.
