Children can watch, listen, and read along to their favorite stories.This unique, fun experience develops beginning reading skills and word recognition and will get kids excited about reading. Includes 3 little golden book stories - the poky little puppy, tawny scrawny lion, and the saggy baggy elephant and the poky little puppy character that creates more light effects in nightlight mode. Colorful lights and sound effects help each story magically unfold. The recommended projection distance is 2' to 6'. It's also easy to pack up and bring along. Store cartridges in the slots on the side of the projector. Save the package to take the story dream machine on the go, as it includes space for additional storage and a carrying handle. It's perfect for sleepovers or trips with the kids. When it's bedtime, it doubles as a white noise nightlight to help children fall asleep. Love the idea and the product-room for improvement

Our little ones love it. I do wish they had books that lasted more than a minute or too. I also noticed if you get something like paw patrol versus the older books. The stories aren't as good, nor do they last long. We had it for a year now. Noticed more books are coming out. The price overall per the books are decent. We typically wait for a sale. We have to buy a case now for the spare books. I hope they can do other stories sooner and be longer. I know its hard with the projector design. Some of the first books also have poor focus. Have to be a little bit closer to see it. Might just also be a variation in the design. Some newer books could be the same. Not so sure. Overall though they love it. They still cannot read, so it getting blurry sometimes is fine. Would be cool if it could auto focus or stay consistent.

Disappointed

The Story Dream Machine has so much potential and we were so excited to get it for the boys. Unfortunately, you cannot get a clear picture unless you're mere inches away from the wall, which means the picture is very small.

Focus Issues

Got this for our children for Christmas, every time it turns a page we have to refocus the lense. Would be great if that wasn’t a constant issue.

Very disappointing product.

Almost never works. Light flashes red for no reason then just stops playing the videos. We have purchased several video so it’s not the videos - it’s the projector. Very disappointing product.

focus needs work

I believe that the focus needs to be worked on, I should also state how far it reaches because I bought it for a classroom of babies and it didn't work where it was supposed to go and well my grandkids got it, but still the focus is pretty bad
