Solid 14K Gold?! I'm not so sure.

Purchased in October and wore twice. I opened the box and removed it today (February), and it was discolored. I have 14K gold pendants and chains that I have left boxed or unboxed for years that never tarnish. Too late to return, but I definitely would if I could.
