I remember years ago my mom cooking with a cast iron skillet so I had to have not one but three. I purchased the 8", 10.25" and 12". Love them all.

A thousand times better than the other cast iron skillet I was using before this purchase. I will only buy Lodge cast iron skillets from now on. Looking to get one of the small dutch oven cast iron skillets they offer. I use my cast iron to cook all sorts of things: breakfast (pancakes, bacon, etc) to dinner. Here's a tip - Roast your chicken in a cast iron skillet around 425-450 degrees heat(depending on your oven) from now on. Turn up the heat on the last 10 or so minutes of cooking time. Comes out perfect every time. Nice crispy skin on the outside while being tender and juicy on the inside. You'll thank me for it!! :-)

I love these skillets. The 8" is perfect for eggs and the eggs absolutely tase better cooked in cast iron. The 10 1/2" is large enough to cook for 2 and light enough to handle easily. The clean-up is quick and the seasoning is no big deal. Once you cook in cast iron, you won't want to go back!

I purchased this Lodge cast iron skillet for my partner. He loves the versatility of this skillet. He uses it almost everyday to cook a variety of delicious meals. Lodge is known for its high quality skillets. Just be sure to keep seasoned and wash correctly. .

I rinsed the pan and dried with a towel. I rubbed the only cooking oil in my pantry - olive oil. I used it a couple of times and it heats up very well, and cooks evenly! It's not too heavy for my arthritic hands.

This is the best pan I have ever used! If you keep it "seasoned" it is the BEST non stick pan ever. Love this!

I love this cast iron skillet, it is great quality and comes pre seasoned. I love the 10 inch because it's big enough for what I need to do most of the time yet lighter than the 12 inch. It is great quality and in comparison to come other brands out there the Lodge tend to be a better quality and a bit lighter in weight.
