Beutiful product

Okay But Disappointed

The design is pretty. I like the rectangular dish-it's a good size for 2 servings. The colors are not as vibrant as they look in the picture. The description led me to believe these were special hand-painted, imported pieces. Somewhere, if you go hunting for the information (I didn't) you'll find they are mass produced and painted by someone in a factory in China. That was a disappointment to me. Also, the bottom of the pie dish is not glazed. It retains water in the ceramics after it is washed. I'm not sure if that will be a problem when I put it in the oven.

These are stunning pieces of bakeware. They are well made. Haven't baked with them yet but I have them on display. They are a work of art.
