Awesome Carbon Steel Pan
I have a lot of iron pots that I cook with and wanted to try the carbon steel. This pan is amazing! It’s heat responsive and easy to clean and handle. I will be ordering more. Wish you had a store near me.

Great little pan for searing meats and blistering shishito peppers! Takes heat fast and can really put a nice crust on things. I use it on a standard glass top electric stove and it works perfectly. Can't wait to try it in the pizza oven.

Very reliable pan!!
I bought this pan for my son for Christmas. He asked for this brand and this particular pan. He enjoys cooking with this pan because of even cooking, can cook on stove top and move to oven to bake.

Better alternatives out there
Compared to other brands (e.g. De Buyer) I don't think this pan holds up to the hype. The preseasoning has a rough texture and is difficult to use with paper towels. It's also not conducive to further seasoning. I still have issues with sticking even after cooking with it for a year and seasoning multiple times in the oven/BBQ. My De Buyer pans came unseasoned but perform overwhelmingly better. If I could go back I would just buy the De Buyer (same size) or the unseasoned version. It is a great size for 1-2 person home.

12” seasoned carbon steel pan
I washed the pan upon receiving using a mild dish soap as recommended by MI. I then seasoned the pan using there oil seasoning did the entire process. Heated the pan on a very low setting placed bacon in the pan, almost 18 minutes later some bacon was burned some not finished with much sticking. I then cleaned the pan, went through the entire process of seasoning again. Second attempt at breakfast, bacon very low setting twenty minute cook time but bacon was ok, then tried hash browns with a grape seed oil base. Became such a mesh, hash browns stuck completely to the pan. Cleaned pan again, seasoned once again tried breakfast again, same result! The pan in my opinion is very limited to what you can actually use it for. They advertise cook with fire ability, not sure if it’s a marketing gimmick. Pan will probably go to the trash bin. Will go back to using All Clad D5
