Smelly I’m not certain why, but I definitely didn’t want this on a bed where someone would be inhaling the fumes all night long. It could have been mold or mildew or maybe some sort of chemical odor. Regardless, it hit me the moment I opened the package. Very frustrating as it took a long time to receive. In addition, it was shipped directly from the vendor and wasn’t in “Madison Park” packaging.

mattress cover too short
this twin mattress pad does not even fit my twin bed. It is too short. Now they say I past the time to return. I wasted my money.

I did not purchase this for extra padding. I purchased this, so my back would lie against PURE COTTON and not sweat from synthetic fibers. Very happy with this - washes wonderfully - can sleep on this without any bedding- excellent quality

Zero stars. I washed this before use and I was not able to fit it around my twin mattress without significant effort and without ripping the elastic band. A must-return.

This isn’t the experience we want for our customers. This mattress pad is designed to fit mattresses up to 16 inches deep with a snug, slip-resistant skirt that includes a touch of Spandex for stretch. If the mattress is deeper than 16 inches or if the pad was still in its compressed state (it may take up to 72 hours to fully expand after unpacking), this could have contributed to the difficulty in fitting and the resulting damage. To avoid this in future use, we recommend allowing the pad to fully expand before placing it on the bed and confirming your mattress height.
