Dress great, sent wrong one

Ordered the dress in black for a funeral. Knew it would be a classic black dress that would last years. But received a sleeveless beaded floral dress instead. Customer service was great and said they were out of stock in black. Wondering why they would pull a completely different item and brand to send to me. Now I have to return at a UPS store. I ordered the dress from another company and it is a beautiful dress, lined, has pockets. It is well worth purchasing and I highly recommend this classic!

My first Maggie London dress

I tried the dress on and the top of the zipper sticks up. It does not lay flat. When I pull the dress so the the zipper will lay flat, the sleeve seam hangs slightly off of the shoulders. I sewed at dart into the top of the dress on each side of the zipper. This seems to help. I ordered a size 16 in the aline style. Aline dresses are a better fit for my body type. The material is thicker than I thought for the summer. I needed a new black dress for a funeral. I’m going to wear it with a waist belt. Overall it is a nice dress.
