I bought this only for dressy occasions but it is so comfortable that I wear it far more often. For example, the day after my "core" exercise class, the support this provides makes my aching ab and back muscles feel much better. Also, the bust side panels really smooth the bust. Highly recommended. Yes, all unitard styles are a challenge in the restroom. For me, at least, this one is totally worth the inconvenience.

This is an update to another review, as I tried a different size and it's MUCH better! I wear an 18W in most clothing and ordered this in the 2X, following the measurement guidelines. It was smoothing, but not much control in the lower tummy. Returned it. After trying about four other styles, I re-ordered this one in the XL to give it a try, as I did like the material and thought the style worked better than the high waisted shapers, which tended to either roll or leave an unsightly bulge at the top in the back. I am so glad I tried this in the smaller size! It's a little snug by the rib cage area just under the bust, but is not uncomfortable. The smaller size worked much better at holding in my lower tummy, giving me an all over smooth look and feel. The fabric is light weight. Will be great under dresses and the thigh length is long enough to help with the irritating thigh rubbing, but isn't too long and can't be seen with a shorter dress. May be tricky to use the bathroom. We'll see

I have been looking for a smoothing, comfortable piece of shapeware for a while now. This one wasn't bad... but wasn't quite right for me. I think perhaps a size smaller may have been better, as I didn't find it to hold in my lower tummy much. It provided me with nice smoothing, which I liked. I have a high waisted thigh/tummy shaper, but it gives me like a back fat roll where it stops, which was why I wanted to try this one. I'm an 18W in clothing and ordered the 2X in this, following the measurement guidelines. I did like the fabric... very smooth and light. I wasn't sure about the top, as the straps and where it fell in relation to my bra just felt funny. Perhaps a size smaller would have provided a firmer hold result and felt better and I would just have to get used to the straps. I'll have to go in and try on in person I think.

This shaper does that..shapes and slims your natural curves. This is the only shaper that works for me. It also slims your back fat and shaper legs doesn’t roll up. The derrière area I used a less compression material which doesn’t flatten your buttocks. One of the best slimmers for thick women.
