It rolls down...

I followed the measurements on the size chart and was in between sizes... so ordered both (1X & 2X). I wear an 18W in most clothing and the 1X fit much better. That being said, the compression wasn't great and didn't hold me in much, but was smoothing. The big issue for me was that even in trying it on, it didn't stay up and rolled down. There are a few inches of a sticky rubber on the top of the back, but it wasn't enough. Have to return them, as I know if it rolled down just standing in my room, it would never stay up and in place. I even tried to tuck the top up under my bra, but it didn't help.

By far these were the best shapewear I have found that does exactly what it says. It didn't roll and held me in place. Felt great on. Price was great too.

I absolutely love this Hi-Waist Thigh Slimmer! I was skeptical because of my height as most Hi-Waist slimmers aren't really high enough. But, this one is a winner !! It is comfortable, has no pinching, and it isn't so tight you can't breathe.

Works like a dream, holds you in perfectly, you won't be disappointed

I normally give good ratings, but I was disappointed with the Maidenform girdle. Though it said firm, it was not. Plus it kept rolling down. It's embarrassing to constantly be adjusting.
