No more Macy's for me
I ordered the coat on Dec.10 on Dec. 11 while checking for an update I see that my order was canceled due to product not avaliable. I didn't receive any options to order something else. I reached out to the number provided and was transfered to a customer rep in Indonesia.I asked about my refund and was told that my money would be put back on my card in 2 buisness days that didn't happen, I came back and once again the customer rep constantly told me she knew what I was through. I explained the previous rep stated I she promised I would receive my money by that Sat. and she would personally call to make sure. Sat came and I called Macys Herald Sqaure and was told "the store has nothing to do with it" it's an online purchase, she stated "I know you want your money back but you will just have to wait" WHAT???So I call back and get a rep who again began to read from her script and was now told that I had to wait 7-15 buisness days. I am beyond disgusted.
Awful Macys Experience
Awful experience. The jacket was bought as a gift and shipped to a relative's address. 5 days after ordering I get an email stating 1. Product is delayed. 2. No estimated shipping date. 3. No option to cancel since the order is processing. If the product does not ship after 30 days, the order will be automatically cancelled. After a long, unproductive chat session where the dialogue was from a script (with some odd personal questions mixed in), I reached a live agent. The agent said the jackets are in backorder (while Macy's website was still advertising the jacket as available). She attempted to order me a different jacket. After a 15-minute call, the order appeared as cancelled in my macy's profile. I give up. After 30+ years w Macy's, I'm closing my account and moving on to someone new. My issue is not that there was a problem. I get it. My issue is Macy's made NO EFFORT to make this right for me. At a minimum I would have expected them to cancel the right order.

Lots of Compliments
Subject to holes from bonfire flying embers and pocket zippers that break, this is an extremely comfortable and fashionable jacket for wilderness or urban adventures. Buy it in the Summer for 50% off. Color selection is artistic.

Outstanding, as expected
Great coat for walking the dog on cold mornings/nights. The hood is perfect for keeping the wind out. I did not purchase this jacket with a lot of activity in mind. I needed a really warm and wind proof coat. On that basis, this scores a 5 for me. Design, quality and comfort all meet Marmot standards, if you own this brand. If not, I highly recommend giving them a try. Beyond clothing and outerwear, their tents and sleeping bags are hard to beat.

Fits good, warm
Warm, comfortable and well fitting. A little bulkier than I need, but the good fit in a tall size more than makes up for it.
