Not goose down

Wanted new version of my Marmot Shadow jacket, which had 650 fill power, of goose down. Upon receipt of this new version, I noted 700 fill power (which is great), but far less fill rate (weight), and instead of goose now duck down (inferior isolation).

Great warmth to weight value, two membrane 10k/10k rain repellancy great for late fall and early spring when wet can become freezing is great, instead of having to have extra gear.

Cold weather coat

Enjoyable jacket good protection on all sides

I agree with other reviewers I purchased this jacket based off the reviews but you’ll need to wear an extra layer of sweat to fully enjoy the warmth very tight underarms though I wanted to return but I forgot it was a final sale item
