Just don’t make them like they used to.

Ok not great. Nothing like the old Marmot jacket I am looking to replace.

Jacket fits well over layers

For longer duration travel (several weeks to one month) in one small roller bag, we use lightweight rain gear as the final layer over hoodie plus long sleeve thermal tee plus long underwear shirt. Large in this rain jacket fits 6' husband well with all noted layers underneath. Length covers his backside to keep rain dripping to ground, not on pants. Arm circumference sufficient to allow good movement with layers.

Saved me during the Bay Area storm

I actually got to test this out during the heavy Bay Area storm last weeks and it did a really good job keeping me completely dry. Honestly the agate green color was kind of meh to me at the beginning but it is growing on me now. I found that it pairs really well with coyote brown elements and looks great. Packability is good too, just a little bulkier than a regular windbreaker but totally worth it for the protection.
