Good Rainjacket

This is a nice, lightweight rain jacket. I think it would be better if the hood folded up into the collar.

Saved me during the Bay Area storm

I actually got to test this out during the heavy Bay Area storm last weeks and it did a really good job keeping me completely dry. Honestly the agate green color was kind of meh to me at the beginning but it is growing on me now. I found that it pairs really well with coyote brown elements and looks great. Packability is good too, just a little bulkier than a regular windbreaker but totally worth it for the protection.

Great quality and fit

Quality is high as expected from Marmot. The fit for me is excellent. I normally prefer my lightweight GTX jackets without a liner, but it’s possible that this will help protect the Gore-Tex layer so we’ll see how it works.

What an upgrade!

I was looking for a new jacket that offers good water repellency, breathability, durability, and a little bit of warmth when I wear it as a shell when backpacking. This jacket exceeded my expectations. I was especially pleased by how the jacket and hood fit, and the DriClime® lining.
