Web ID: 21325551Perfect Fit!
Tried on my jacket and it fits absolutely perfect. I received a size large. It is a swishy material but it isn’t loud. It seems really sturdy so I can’t wait to wear it when it warms up. The color looks really good. It’s like a brick red.

Lightweight and Dependable
The Marmot Minimalist Jacket is the universal waterproof shell you’ve been looking for and here’s why. Lightweight and packable at just 11 ounces, it disappears easily into a daypack. On the body, it feels barely there, offering reliable protection without sacrificing mobility or comfort. Even when caught in a downpour, it never feels heavy. It’s also refreshingly flexible not stiff or bulky which is something I really appreciate. Although the Pacific Northwest has had a mild winter this year, this jacket has become a staple for me. I keep it in the center console of my car, by the front door for quick dog walks, and pack it along for hikes. It also works perfectly as a coastal jacket, effectively cutting through wind chill when conditions change. The jacket is both waterproof and windproof, delivering dependable protection in unpredictable weather. While it’s made from 100% polyester, the fabric is entirely recycled. Marmot transforms it into Pertex a material known for its durability and long-term reliability then finishes it with a DWR coating that causes water to bead and roll right off. I’ve watched droplets slide down my sleeve and onto the forest floor. The hood, waist, and cuffs are fully adjustable, allowing you to seal in warmth while keeping water exactly where it belongs outside. Underarm vent zips add welcome breathability during more active hikes, and every zipper is fully taped to prevent moisture from sneaking in. You can tell this jacket was thoughtfully constructed with the consumer in mind. I’ll admit I wasn’t completely sold on the colorway at first, but once I was out in nature, it made sense. It blends beautifully with the surroundings soft on the eyes and easy to wear, modest and matches pretty well with other hiking gear. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed by the quality and versatility this jacket offers. If you’re looking for a lightweight, packable shell that isn’t stiff or bulky and travels easily, this is an excellent choice. It’s especially well suited for life in the Pacific Northwest, where layering it over a fleece or base layer provides reliable protection against sudden wind gusts and the downpours that define the climate. Highly recommend!

Great rain wear
This is so lightweight and has great tools for an active one. The side zippers are easy to unzip while wearing it. Love the shape of the hood. It will be helpful during weather and creates a great give if needing to cinch up.

Perfect for a rainy weather
This Marmot women's minimalist Pertex rain jacket is great for any type of rainy weather. I received a large and it's big enough to wear a sweater underneath it without it looking or feeling too bulky. The hood is not too oversized to where it just flops in your face. It has enough pockets to put your keys or wallet in and very breathable.

My dream hiking jacket!
This jacket is that quietly elite outdoor staple. The fit is flattering without trying too hard—slightly tailored but still roomy enough to layer a fleece underneath without feeling marshmallowy. The material is lightweight but legit protective, made with Pertex, so it blocks wind and rain without that stiff, crinkly rain-jacket sound. It is so comfortable I can wear all day on the trails!! You must get! Quality is worth the price especially on long hikes

Very nice jacket
I have worn this during the snow, rain, and windy weather and I think this is a great light weight jacket for hikes and runs. It definitely cannot handle cold temperature but it is good for protecting skin from the elements
