OMG! Disaster!!!
I purchased online Martha Stewart Collection Digital Scale, Only at Macy's. First item, arrived 1/20/17 and I was floored! Shocked! In disbelieve! Item arrived without its original box, but in plastic bag with attached receipt and Make Magic card. Then all of this was heavily wrapped inside of craft packing paper. When I unwrapped all of those layers - the item was noticeably dirty, covered in dirty figure prints, On/Off button was partially rubbed off, under glass tray was thick layer of dust and on the back all labels were so old that they even turned yellow-brown! I could not believe my eyes! I called Customer Service and was told that this item will be marked as damaged and I can bring it to the closest store where it would be accept it and my account will get refunded. If I was still interested in the item, they will be more then happy to send it over to me again. I was still interested. I brought back this scale and a salesperson at the store could not believe her eyes when she saw that. That's not the end. Today 1/27/17, I got a new parcel with new item...guess what.... The condition of this item actually was worse then before. Again USED!!! Again buttons are rubbed off!!! Back is missing battery cover lid!!! Seriously! At this point I just want to return this and forget like a nightmare. This is horrible!!! How is this even possible for used or even floor items to be sold as brand new one? Whoever is in charge MUST look into this nonsense!!! So sad :(
Good when it works
This scale is accurate, when it works. Unless it's possessed (no, I don't believe that :-)), it has all kinds of glitches. It spontaneously turns itself on when I pass by the shelf on which it sits. It wouldn't be a big deal, only it emits a piercing sound whenever it's turned on, which petrifies my little dachshund, so I have to give her (and the other two) treats every time I use it -- and all those times it turns itself on when I don't. I'd say the sound is not a great thing in general, I have other scales that don't emit any sounds when turned on, and I'm well aware they're ready to be used anyway. Another thing it does, which was actually the reason I had to buy another scale -- it decides to go completely berserk at random, often in the middle of weighing ingredients, when numbers start running like mad and it "reboots' itself. I often add different ingredients to the same bowl, so this presented a huge problem since I can't exactly remove, say, chickpea flour from what is now the mixture of chickpea and whole wheat flours. And no, I don't think that dirtying multiple bowls is a good solution. It's not a cheap scale, but I basically threw my money away -- I don't want to take the risk of it resetting itself/going mad while I'm in the middle of weighing multiple ingredients. As great as it is when it works, it's entirely unreliable -- or at least, mine is, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Good for New Years resolutions
Works well, easy to use, since it comes with batteries it is ready to use out of the box. The glass platform holds containers well for precise weighing!
I was surprised at how great this works, didn't know about it's other features.
This scale works perfectly for me, greater than expected, since this is my first scale purchase, simple to operate, easy to clean, and durable. It also take the guess work out of trying to weight the objects or containers that holds the food so that you get an accurate measurement of the food only.

Good value for money
Good features and reasonably priced. It also takes standard size batteries which is a plus. It has a decent glass platform for bowls and pans. Would recommend.
Seeing is believing
i have not been very good at figuring out portion sizes. This is a great help for me to attain my physical good health. It is easy to use whether it is in a container or just sitting on the scale. It is fast and accurate. No more guessing!
