The blue is beautiful and earthy in color. I used it to make chicken bone broth in the oven, and it turned out delicious! The quality is high, it is heavy, but it is coated, of course. There’s a small chip on one of the handles, I’m guessing it was during shipping as the package looked like it had a rough trip. I don’t like that Martha Stewart’s name is in large letters on the lid. I find that a bit tacky, but it does blend in as the letters are defined and the color is consistent on the Dutch Oven.
