Plastic Chopper, Created for Macy's
Product details
Web ID: 254750Not too bad
Works OK. It doesn't chop all of the things as good as i hoped. You get what you paid for.
Usually love her products, but not this one!
I bought both this one and the smaller version, and both have problems. One rusted almost immediately, and the other gets stuck as it's chopping (even with small amounts of food in it), and also the container pops open so everything spills out. I feel like I wasted money on them! I love all of my other Martha Stewart products, so I was very disappointed in this one.
Unsatisfactory
the blades are not sharp, as others haave mentioned, it is not easy to clean, as others have mentioned... mine started to rust shortly after i started to use it. i love martha, and her gadgets, but this one is useless. buy a mandolin, it works much bettter, and is more versatile
Martha Stewart chopper
Overall not impressed with the chopper. The bottom falls off a lot. It might be better to just use the chopper on top of a cutting board. With a nice knife if might be quicker/easier to just chop by hand.
good for chopping onions
I received this for my wedding & I have used it a few times. I only take it out of the cupboard when a recipe calls for a lot of chopping. I usually use it for onions because I am really sensitive to the fumes. I have to say, though, I'm sure actually chopping the onions with a knife would do a better job...but, I'm too lazy for that.
Works poorly
This does not work well at all. The blade always falls out. I'm very disappointed with it.
Worst Product Ever
I tried to use this to chop basil. It basically just smooshed it up but did not chop it. I had to take out the basil and try to salvage it. And it will be the must frustrating thing you own when you try to put it together and take it apart to wash. This could have been made 100x better. Mine is about to go in the trash.
don't bother.
I registered for this chopper on my wedding registry. I was all excited that I wouldn't have to get my hands onion-y smelling. 1) I still had to cut vegetables into chunks in order to get them to fit 2) The vegetables repeatedly got stuck on the blades. 3) it was a very uneven chop 4) I ended up having to take out whatever I was chopping and cut it again. 5) awkward to take apart, clean, and put back together.
