Recliner not functioning
The seat can not recline per advertised which makes it very difficulty for my 5 month old sleep during a ride due to the lack of comfort and proper support for my baby
Keeps little one cool
We bought this a few months ago because our 2 year old was having heat issues in a normal car seat in the southern US. The Pria Chill was an instant night and day difference in comfort for our daughter and she went on and on about how “this seat keeps me cool”. She complains when she’s in another car seat now. The only complaint I have this that you can’t turn the fan on manually, it only runs when the sensor thinks it should. Our little one runs hot and has asked several times for us to turn the fan on because she’s warm but the car seat hasn’t decided it’s warm enough to run the fan yet and we have to explain to her that we can’t control the fan. The on/off switch in the power cable is only to turn the system on or off, not the fans themselves.

A must have
I brought this for my 7 month old who is a “hot “ baby. He is always sweating. This is worth every penny! It has fans and keeps him cool!

I am thrilled with this seat
This seat has been such a game changer for those hot miserable summer days. The 3 speed fans keep my child cool and comfortable, specially being rear facing and not having a direct vent. The fans do have a noise but it's not loud enough to be a pain. My child seems to enjoy it and it's almost like a slight white noise. The shoulder strap are the kind that don't stay up and the buckle pad does slide off occasionally when taking my child out, so they are a pain to always be adjusting. The fabric cleans nicely and I haven't had any problems with staining. The cover is easy to remove and put back on. The mesh fabric isn't as smooth as some of their other fabrics and crumbs can get stuck in the mesh holes. I do understand that it needs to be a fabric that air can flow through so it makes sense but can be frustrating trying to vacuum out. Installing the seat was easy and straight forward. I plugged mine into the 12v plug in my trunk and ran the cord through my seat creases so it stays out of the way and is hidden. The cord is long and can easily reach the front or rear outlet. The on-off indicator light is easy to tell if it is lit up with my rear baby camera. My seat is rear facing so the manual switch is easy to reach. However, in forward facing it might not be as easy to reach. I have a Toyota RAV4 and it fits nicely behind my seat (drivers seat). I currently have two Maxi Cosi seats in the back and everyone in my family fits great. My husband usually rides passenger because it gives him more room with a forward facing seat to put his chair back (he is 6'4). All that to say it's not a gigantic seat and can fit comfortably in a small SUV. Overall, if you love the Maxi Cosi car seats you will not be disappointed with this one!

Difficult to Install but Very Comfortable
We have loved the opportunity to test out the Maxi Cosi Pria Chill All-in-One car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! It is quite plush and my daughter seems very comfortable in the seat (she's currently rear facing and I like that her feet don't even touch the back seat yet). We took this car seat on a ten hour road trip yesterday so we've really put it to the test! We can confirm that it's easy to clean in the event of carsickness as well. ?? One of the best features to me is the magnetic chest clip. This makes the buckling process super easy (while also still secure). The three recline positions, ultra cushioned seats, and built in fans mean that this car seat is great for both short and long trips. Especially living in Louisiana, we really appreciate those seat fans! Additionally, I love the cupholders — both where they are positioned (for easy access) and the fact that they easily twist out and can be tossed in the dishwasher (game changer!!). I think this is the most comfortable car seat my daughter had even ridden in and I like that it can even transition into a booster seat for her down the road. There are two things that we don't love about the car seat: 1. The installation was challenging and the instructions could be clearer. 2. Sometimes the straps catch on the back mechanics, making the seat difficult to tighten. It definitely requires a little more force to get the straps tight but it's certainly worth it for a more comfortable ride! Overall, we really enjoy this car seat and plan to continue using it!

A life saver
The maxi-cosi pria chill car seat is an essential for anyone living in the south, especially during the hot summer! I would not have known what to do without this seat during the weeks we had that were so hot you didn't want to go outside! Not only is it light weight, but fit perfectly with multiple other car seats in our car as well. The plug in portion for the fans were not as issue at all, and we easily forgot it was even there. None of the kids even bothered it like I thought might be a concern. Cleaning the seat is super easy and my kids don't even cry in the car seat. We use this seat daily and I definitely recommend this car seat to anyone considering purchasing!

Amazing carseat
I am SO SO happy with this carseat! The quality is amazing and it is extremely durable! Installation is pretty easy too and doesn't take too long! It is super comfortable for your baby too! My daughter LOVES it and asks to go on drives so she can be in it! The cooling fans are amazing too! They really do keep baby's temperature at a decent level so they don't overheat! The fans are pretty quiet too which is really nice. The straps on the carseat are easy to adjust and don't tangle easily. The magnetic chest clip is a lifesaver too! And the strap holders are very nice to have! Cleaning the seat is simple too and it is washable. I love that this is an all in one seat and I won't have to get any other seat for my girl as she gets bigger! I HIGHLY recommend you get this seat! Your baby will love it!!

The best air vents for hot days!
The Maxi-Cosi Pria Chill car seat is the most innovative one that I have seen on the market. I LOVE the addition of the air vents, which is the reason why I wanted to use it. Upon using it, I loved the fact that the car seat was lightly colored, had air vents with multiple speeds, and has plush breathable fabric that keeps baby cool in the car seat in the summer. Before using this car seat, I struggled with keeping my baby cool in a car without ceiling vents. The biggest downside to this car seat is the fact that the chest clip does not stay in place. I have 2 other car seat models from different brands that do not have this issue. The chest clip on the Maxi-Cosi Pria Chill seat slides down so easily that it often rests on top of the crotch clip - an extremely unsafe position for baby. The chest clip slides so easily that my toddler is able to do it with one hand and figure out how to get his arms outside of the straps. If this feature was fixed, I would 100% recommend this car seat.
