Recliner not functioning
The seat can not recline per advertised which makes it very difficulty for my 5 month old sleep during a ride due to the lack of comfort and proper support for my baby
Keeps little one cool
We bought this a few months ago because our 2 year old was having heat issues in a normal car seat in the southern US. The Pria Chill was an instant night and day difference in comfort for our daughter and she went on and on about how “this seat keeps me cool”. She complains when she’s in another car seat now. The only complaint I have this that you can’t turn the fan on manually, it only runs when the sensor thinks it should. Our little one runs hot and has asked several times for us to turn the fan on because she’s warm but the car seat hasn’t decided it’s warm enough to run the fan yet and we have to explain to her that we can’t control the fan. The on/off switch in the power cable is only to turn the system on or off, not the fans themselves.

A must have
I brought this for my 7 month old who is a “hot “ baby. He is always sweating. This is worth every penny! It has fans and keeps him cool!

Very "cool" Seat
She's big, she's plush, she's cool, and she's safe. She's a fantastic car seat. Let's break it down. She's definitely big. I wouldn't recommend this car seat for a compact vehicle. I have a large SUV, and it takes up every bit of the seating space. The seat is on the heavier side and my child sits up higher in Maxi-Cosi Pria compared to other brands. She's plush. The seat padding is next level and the color combo with the small leather details is perfect. The seat comes with an assortment of additional padding, but the instructions lack explanation on how to correctly use them. Is there a height and weight requirement? I don't know. Shout out to Maxi-Cosi for making the cup holders not only removable, but dishwasher safe. There is nothing more disgusting than a toddler's cup holders. So thank you for that. She's cool. The Maxi-Cosi Pria's cooling feature is outstanding. No more sweaty babies, especially in rear facing. I can't wait to put this element to the full test this summer in the California heat. Connecting the car seat was super simple. The small cord fit under the floor mat, and then I ran it in between the seats to reach the plug. It's well hidden. Oh, did I mention it's quiet? She's safe. This car seat holds a 4-100lb child. That might be the best feature of the seat. For me, a long-term rear-facing seat is so important. This seat maxes out at 40 lbs for rear facing! The Pria Chill gives clear install instructions and the option to speak with a Maxi-Cosi certified tech for any installation questions. The installation went smoothly. I like the magnetic chest clip. The side harness hooks are a helpful-added detail. However, I don't love the lower buckle cover. It's very bulky and impedes the clips if it slides down. My chief complaint would be the lack of information Maxi-Cosi provides about the cooling feature such as at what temperature does it turn on. Awesome seat for warm weather
I would recommend this car seat to anyone living in a warm climate, especially if they drive a car without air vents in the back. I have such peace of mind knowing my son is safe and comfortable in the Maxi-Cosi Pria Chill. We recently took a long road trip to the beach and it was so nice not having to worry about the baby getting too hot in the car. I will say that the seat was initially difficult to install, but moving it to a different car later was a breeze. Be aware that during long road trips the ventilation system can be loud when automatically turning on-off. Overall, I would recommend this car seat and am grateful for having been given the opportunity to test it out myself.

This seat is very unique!
Overall this seat is a game changer for littles, especially on those hot summer days. It was a fairly easy install and the manual was extremely easy and helpful. It took a few attempts to make sure the seat was secure but after that it was smooth sailing. The fans are very easy to turn on and the indicator light is super helpful. I felt like it cooled off the seat very quickly and my baby fell asleep quickly and easily. The strap covers seemed to hinder a tight enough harness so I removed those early on. The only things I wish were different were the rear facing weight limit (40 lbs vs 50lbs), its a little larger than other seats and the fans arent able to be controlled (they sense the temperature and fluctuate between low, medium and high). Overall this is a fantastic seat! !

Luxury car seat
If you are worried about keeping your child at the right temperature while traveling, this car seat is for you. It has a luxury appearance and feel. Many compliments on its appearance. Easy to clean. Easy harness features are so appreciated. My daughter loves the fans and almost uses them as a sound machine. Wish it had more adjustable options and the balance ball to ensure proper installation. Not a great car seat for a small space. The indicator light can be a little bright with night time driving but nothing the off switch can't fix if necessary. Overall, great car seat and so glad we went for it!

Comfortable for My Little One
I currently use this for my 5 month old and he has loved it. It's comfortable for him and he doesn't seem to get hot in it like our other car seat. It was easy to install and get him in and out. I especially like the magnetic clip.
