Love the kettle but not the mold spots!

Love the kettle - the look, the speed, the efficiency - but noticed that small dots have been appearing at the bottom of the kettle! I have to constantly wash the kettle (when all I’m doing is heating water). I should have purchased a glass one!

I received this MegaChef electric tea kettle a few days ago. It's my first time with an electric one. It is small lightweight. I am delighted with how quickly it heats the water. The best thing is that it has several temperature settings. When it boils, it's a rolling, roiling boil. It will keep the water hot. When unplugged, the cord can be wrapped around the base. The only things I don't care for are the temperature settings are in Celcius rather than Fahrenheit, and there is a minimum amount of water needed - 1/2 liter (about 17 oz.). Overall, I am happy with it.
