The water cooler failed to function

I was looking forward to using the new water machine and followed all setup instructions. However, the unit never got cold. Furthermore, I returned to the kitchen later to find that the machine had leaked everywhere, resulting in a substantial mess. I am highly disappointed with this product's performance right out of the box.
