Discolored Pan
My grill pan discolored after just one use. I made two hamburgers and although the pan cleaned well, it was discolored. I issued a complaint and was given instructions. However, the instructions were for burnt on food which wasn’t the case.

M&S carbon steel pan
The pan works as advertised, perfectly nonstick. Since it’s steel, durability should be good too.

Disappointed
I have had this pan for a year and after using it a few times it warped. I did so much research on what pan to get and made sure it was compatible with an induction stove. It is currently the only pan I have (my favourite is out of commission) which is why I decided to finally write a review. As I said, the pan is very warped. The middle has caved in sort of which means it cooks very unevenly and wobbles about an inch in any direction. It’s basically a cross between a pan and a wok but not in a good way. I take the care of my cookware very seriously. I was sure to properly season and clean the pan so I know it was not operator error. The handle is not comfortable, especially for the weight of the pan. It is very wide and comparatively “thin” so it digs in and is difficult to grip if you have about medium sized hands (think glove sized medium). Despite all the reviews saying it is a light pan, my 12” is anything but. I worked in industrial kitchens for about 10 years and have never experienced a pan like this. All that being said, the actual pan is good, I cooked eggs in it this morning and they didn’t stick in the way they did with my old pan (though they did cook unevenly due to the warp). This is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. Very sad and disappointed in this pan. As I mentioned before I did extensive research before settling on Merten and Storck. I care very much about how my appliances and equipment perform and this product simply didn’t measure up.

Great Skillet
Great skillet. Fried an egg and it didn’t stick.

Seems to be a good pan, I would like to see a welded handle but it seems to be sturdy enough for now.

Wonderful
I’ve had mine for a while, and I absolutely love it!!! Now I’m buying another! They are really great pans, they don’t stick. If they do stick it’s my fault, I put the food in too early..but, it comes right off with some hot water….period. Then just give it a little oil rub and it’s great again. Love love love.
