Universal lids might be one of the best things to happen to cooking since buttered bread! I use this Meyer Culinary Medium Universal Lid with the matching 5-quart stockpot and it's absolutely perfect!

Works great!

What can I say? The universal lid idea is a cool concept and works well on almost any size pot. It may look a little silly to have this big lid on the small pots, but when you're putting things away and have fewer lids to find a place for, you don't care how it looks! Also, we love that it has small air holes in the top which let it breathe a little. Overall, it's a cool idea and a functional piece of kitchen equipment.

Fits perfect.

This lid has three lips or grooves in it so that it can fit on several size pots. I got this lid for my Meyer Accent Series Stainless Steel Stockpot, 5-Quart, Matte Black pot. It fits great in the middle groove. The lid's handle is attached securely. It has three holes on the top in a row to allow the steam to be released. It matches my pot perfectly so I would assume the color of this pot is Matte Black.
