Great style but runs small

I loved these boots from the moment I opened the box. The style was exactly what I was looking for. Square toe, plain styling. Unfortunately, they were tight from the moment I slid my foot in. I normally wear an 8 1/2 W, but in boots will size up to a 9 to allow for socks. The moment I slide my foot in, my foot caught on the hard wall and the front of the boot/arch area. I could get the boot on, with force, but they would not have been comfortable to wear around. I think a 9W would have worked, but unfortunately this boot does not come in a W.

Offensive smell and appearance disappointing.

Sorry to say that I had to return. Opening the box, the smell of the non- leather material was so strong and offensive, and looked so fake in person, I did not even try them on.
