Item never received

I placed an order on September 5 and never received my item although I got several email updates letting me know that it was delayed but on its way. I spoke to 2 different customer service representatives and was assured that I would receive my item. The second representative processed a refund for my item as an attempt to make it right and in my order item details showed that my refund had been processed but that I can keep my item. The third representative that I spoke to only offered to help me place a new order. I still have not received my item and have zero confidence that Macy’s can support and successfully deliver.
