Weird pattern on belt.

This belt has a very visible pattern etched into it. Is it formal? Kinda sort of. Wanted a plain black belt. The pattern cheapens it.

Not worth it for an everyday belt

very cheap leather. scraped and had a tear in it within a week of use. Macys had a good sale on it, but the material is below grade.
