Love it but....

This thing has somehow bent slightly at the end. It has not ever been dropped, mishandled or washed in the dishwasher. Lives in a knife block. Never had this happen and not sure how long it's been bent..you almost dont notice it. But it's there and I'm not pleased for the price of it

Makes chopping a breeze

Feeling like a Pro

i've been eyeing miyabi's for a while...and it was on sale! this is my first grown-up upgraded super knife. i'm still getting used to using the rocking style, but so far, it's sturdy and sharp. 7" is perfect for my small hands. i did feel the mid section getting less sharp since i tend to use one area most. so i had to embrace the habit to hone it regularly to keep that sharp edge. i hear chefs hone it before they use the knife every time...guess i have to learn!
