Good deck fan

This is a very nice fan. We installed it on our outside deck in our Texas home. It puts out quite a bit of breeze which is needed in the hot summers here. The only complaint I have about it is that it is slow to respond to the remote. When turning it on it takes a while for the blades to start spinning (sometimes starts going backward first then corrects itself?). Takes a few seconds to respond and then several (possibly 20 seconds) more to get up to speed.

Great Fan!

I'm an active DIY'er and have installed at least 10 fans during my years of home ownership. Of all the fans I've installed, this is the best. While the included instructions were not so great, in a short while, I was able to figure them out. I particularly like the safety cable that was included with the fan. With little effort, I was able to attach it via lag bolt to one of the rafters in my attic. This is a great safety feature! Also, we love the "Smart Ceiling Fan" functions, especially the "breeze mode". The fan runs smoothly and is very quiet. We are very happy with our purchase.
