Train is cute, but won't shut off unless you take out the battery.

If the switch is not functioning properly, the item may be defective. Very disappointing design and poor quality
This Mr. Christmas animated train is simply not well made. The leaves come loose easily, and the train track does not properly fit into the white platform. Once you turn the train on, there is no way to turn it off without unplugging it, which is very inconvenient. The tree-mounting rack is unstable and uneven, making it difficult to secure safely on the Christmas tree. The plastic looks cheap, and the overall construction feels flimsy and poorly designed. I honestly can’t believe a product of this quality is being sold at Macy’s. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

2 years agoGreat idea, poor design!
Great idea, however design and manufacturing was poor. The clamp that attaches the track to the tree is very difficult to get tight on an artificial tree I may be able to modify it so it would make it more stable. The black track that the train runs on does not fit inside the support base, in fact it won't lay flat on a table or floor so there is a lot of up and down motion to the track as the train moves. Between the loose clamp and the misfitting track it is very unstable. The good news it does go around the tree and the kids really think it's fun but it has to be monitored closely by adults or it no doubt would fall off the track.

The train mounts easily to our Christmas tree and it looks great. The problem is that the train track does not fit well on the platform and tends to get loose. This makes the train unsteady.

Just got this train to go around our main Christmas tree and we love it! It’s stable and was easy to put together! It’s a great addition to our Christmas tree creating more holiday magic that Mr Christmas creates for everyone!

2 years agoHorrible manufacturing - does not work!
Awful! The black track doesn’t fit the white supporting track, the arms do not line up to the fasteners to hold the track in place. The pieces of both tracks don’t stay together, the ‘merry Christmas’ is rubbing off the train.. we sent an hour getting it all set up only to find the pieces don’t fit. I wasn’t expecting a high quality trai. But did expect that it would actually function. So frustrated and disappointed. Mr Christmas used to have really cool items.

Not stable, poor quality.
We were excited about this for our kids. The track isn't stable and it broke causing the train to fall and smash on the floor.
