Nice style but falling apart

Bought a pair of these a couple weeks ago for waterproof summer boots that aren't as tall or hot as my usual muck boots. I like the laces and they feel comfy and sturdy. They've been grate for both the barnyard, camping and general use but after just a few weeks the liner inserts are disintegrating. Expect to replace the inserts if you buy these and go easy the first few wears there is a seam on the heal that can leave a nasty blister until it gets worn in.

Perfect.

I read all the negative reviews and still gave these a shot. Sure glad I did. They fit awesome snug without being too tight. I think alot of people are overtightening these. They don't need to be laced down super had to stay on just snug. Also you need to wear appropriate socks with them. I spent 5 hours rock hoping across a jetty to go fishing today. And these were fantastic for hiking across the boulders and standing and casting. These were the perfect boots for this excursion.

Apex boot

Bought a pair of Apex zip ups last year. Zipper broke on the left boot. I thought getting strings would be a benefit. The problem is the grommets left welt marks on my ankles, not nearly enough padding.

Don't do it. Save your money.

I have the Apex zip up and buckle ones. When these came out I was very excited to try them with laces. Man was I disappointed. Listen to the reviews. The ankle pinch is real and you can't walk much in them. Not bad for riding ATVs but forget about hiking in them.
