Not a work boot
I’ve had a pair of Muck Chore tall boots for just about a year. I work in the septic industry, portapotties specifically. The boots were great at first…. After about 2 months, the insoles came unglued. They would constantly disorient themselves in the boot, causing quite a discomfort. Additionally, the boots are now torn where the fabric meets the rubber. Needless to say, these boots should not be used as ‘work boots’. Maybe a good fit for jumping in puddles…..

The ones that I bought in 2023 are still good. I am buying a backup pair just in case. It is a very comfortable boot and keeps my feet dry and warm. I'm rating the 2023 in that I haven't received the 2025 boot yet.

After several pairs of mucks over the years I’m done with this brand. From chore cool to chore they just don’t last.

Muck's quality has gone downhill
I had a pair of muckboots that I wore nearly everyday on the farm for five years. They were fantastic. When they finally fell apart, I bought this pair. I knew something had changed when the sizing was different, but that wasn't all: they lasted maybe 3 months before they got holes and lost their water tightness. Not sure the reason but I disapprove.

Happy Customer
Bought these as a gift for my husband and he loves them. Whenever he wears them he talks about wanting to get me a pair (I’ll say no that’s okay but secretly I am hoping he does!). Great purchase and great use here at our woodsy home for the wetter days.

Squeaky boots
The very first time I wore my new muck boots they somehow trapped moisture between the layers of the sole. Now every single step I take makes a squeaking noise. Tried drying the boots on a boot dryer, but squeaking noise while walking g is still present. This makes me concerned about the construction of the boots and overall durability. If there is a hole somewhere for moisture to enter the layers in the sole, it’s only a matter of time before the waterproofing becomes compromised. Then they will be tossed into the trash and I will be going with a different brand of waterproof boots.
