Excellent traction and foot support

Great boots. Good strong soles with grippy tread. Great for rough landings on rocky shores, and walking across rocks and rough terrain. The excellent support and foot protection comes at a price, of course. These are relatively heavy and somewhat clunky boots; you're not going to be dancing a jig in them. But if you need waterproof protection and really good foot support for eg in and out of boats on rocky shores or hiking rough terrain, these are your boots!

Great Mucking Boots!

These are great boots for mucking about. I love mine because they come all the way up my calf. I would definitely purchase these again if needed. I doubt I would need to though.

My go-to field boot for 8 months of the year!

Despite some other reviews, I've had great luck with this boot. I wear these for the majority of my fieldwork in very rugged environments, up and down slopes, through creeks and streams, over rock, mud, and pavements in the Pacific Northwest. My first pair lasted almost 5 years of moderate use. I finally started taking water in through the seams and figure these boots did their fair-share. I'm now onto my second pair. Let's hope they make 'em just as tough as my last pair.

Highly recommend!

We bought the Muck Chore Cool Boots. I absolutely love them. Very comfortable, keep my feet dry and at a good temperature. I’m looking forward to buying a pair for the winter time. I also love that they come on and off easy
