What is Nambe doing?

This is my second set of Adian. First set was purchased about eight years ago. Everyone loves the weight of the original set. I just purchased anothet set for a second house. The new version has lighter spoons. The difference is over 20 grams? Why cheap out on the spoons? The set included serving spoons which do not weigh the same as a separate set of serving spoons I just ordered to complete the original set if that makes sense. It appears they're cutting corners to save money? But why just some pieces and not the entire set? It's like they've blended two different sets together. How disappointing as the original set I have is fantastic. The separate serving spoons I ordered are the same quantity but this flatware set is a mix.

small handles fall thru in dishwasher

The handles are so small, they fell through the the standard size silverware hold in the dishwasher. Had to buy something with small holes so they didn't fall through.

Tarnished Fork Aidan Flatware

Nice pattern but fork tarnished after first wash. You would expect 18/8 not to tarnish

Different than past set

Nice. But not like the prior version. About 1/3 the weight of the set we got 10 years ago. Would pay more for th previous version.
