these ARE a wide calf boot!

I was worried that they’d be too tight in the calves but they were actually a lot looser(bigger/wider) than I expected. I ordered my usual size and reviewed the size chart before ordering. They should be “just right” but there’s actually a considerable gap in the calves area/shaft of the boot. It doesn’t look too bad but would’ve been better if they fit as they were supposed to, however they are not as small or tight as some other reviews suggested. Boot is comfortable and seems well made. Hopefully no issues after some more wear.

Comfortable and fits like a glove!!

Sizing is PERFECT according to the size chart given. I have a wide foot, smaller ankle and a 16” calf for reference. I like the fact they are leather so you can keep them clean in the winter. With the block heel, they are so comfortable it makes you forget the height! The design is classic and can be worn with everything from skinny jeans to dresses. These are already my new favorite boots and I’m happy I have all three colors! Thank you for finally including wide width AND wide calf in one boot.

Perfect fit and outstanding quality!

I was really afraid of ordering boot online but, to my great surprise, they are an 12d out of 10! I have a bit wider foot than average and a wide calf. I went by the measurements in the chart and they fit perfectly! The quality is beautiful and the fit is perfect.

Ankles do not fit at all

I’m surprised that boots that are supposed to be wide calf are way too tight at the ankles and yet the foot area is actually very generous and not cramped. I cannot wear these because the ankles are too tight so I had to return them and am not even going to try another size.
