Dull cloudy not blue violet stones

I have several Le Vian Tanzanite rings that I LUV so thought why not pair of earrings since I was so happy with my stones, I bought these on sale off web sight and can tell you they are going back. The Tanzanite stones are cloudy not clear and not beautiful blue violet like my rings. I was OK with them smaller then I like if quality had been there. The gold also is thin just doesn't add up to the quality I excepted from Le Vain.
