Expected higher quality

The scent is sexy and light, but it doesn't last. This is the first time I've purchased an Armani fragrance, and compared to a comparable brand like Chanel -- this doesn't hold up.

Great Alternative to Beloved Original

The New Profondo Parum is a fantastic replacement for my Absolu. It is both fresh, subtle, and yet provides all the elements that made the Absolu amazing — aquatic, woodsy, and slight hint of patchouli and amber. This is my first repurchase since the original bottle shortly after finding out the Absolu was discontinued. It is missing some of the warmth that came with the Absolu, but it is a phenomenal replacement. I don't get nearly as many compliments, but it works with my body chemistry so we are keeping with it — until the Absolu returns!
