After a month of use, the silicon o ring seal where it sits around the inside edge of the blender lid smell pretty terrible. I first notice that seeds of blueberries stuck in there. I give it a good rinse of detergent and dry immediately but after doing this after everyday use, the smell turned from slight to strong. I manage to pull out the silicon seal to soaked in bi card soda. The smell still remains but at least the leftover food residuals are gone. It is very hard to pullout the seal to clean. The blender itself is very good but only the lid let down the whole experience. Contacted the supplier they do not offer any better solution. So everyone is aware after the new purchase, have to pull out the ring to clean every time diligently so to keep it clean. Until Nutri ninja fixed this flaw it could have been a fantastic blender.

Design Flaw
The blender works ok but the blade lid has a design flaw that makes it impossible to clean the the rim thoroughly, therefore mold grows under the rubber ring. I have only had this a few months and thought I had cleaned it well after each use. But I just noticed black pieces in the blended purée, and after investigating, realized that they’re black pieces stuck around the rim and under the rubber ring. It looks like mold but I’m not sure. I bought this to make purées for baby food, so now I’ll need to look for something else.

Best Product Ever!
I absolutely love this product. I bought this when it was on sale and bought 2 more just as a precautionary. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I make my green juices and smoothies every morning. I had another blender that quickly burned out because I use frozen fruit. I had this blender for a couple of months and it continues to work the same.
Great little Blender
Great for making protein shakes with lots of ice. Quick, easy, and chops up ice right from your cube trays. Much easier to use than pulling out the big blender. Nice size for traveling. I bought two.
