Ninja’s new DG551 is amazing!

Bought a first generation Ninja Foodie indoor grill & air fryer when they first came on the market. It’s been my favorite appliance ever since. The reason behind buying the newer XL version is because the first generation model simply wasn’t large enough for a family larger than three people. This DG551 is more attractive but it isn’t much heavier than the smaller version. The features have improved over the years. For instance, the smaller version dehydrator system was so annoying to use and the thermometer didn’t have its own space on the body of the appliance as this newer model has. It was so easy to misplace the thermometer in a drawer. There are many more positive reasons to purchase this DG551 but a review should only be so long!

Best indoor grill you can get

I purchased this grill to replace an older foodi grill, that I gave away to a family member. It still worked great, but I wanted a newer version. This new model works great, and I really like the new style. The only downside is the wire mesh air fry basket. I’m used to the grey steel one that cleans easy.
