Nocturne Shoulder Short Coat

Absolutely beautiful warm jacket. Worth every penny even if not on sale. It’s made top of the line and the material is warm and soft. I made the mistake of ordering a large, however I am returning for a medium. You can wear in very cold weather and be cozy. My first purchase of Nocturne and I am impressed with the quality they are right up there was other high quality brands.

cozy but not quite the right look

5'3" 124lbs ordered the small. I have more of a straight up and down shape, a little hip. The jacket was loose enough I could wear a sweatshirt underneath and been comfortable. I have been wanting a shorter peacoat style jacket and I thought this one looked cute with the ability to be dressed up or down. I did realize it had shoulder pads. Just arrived today, I wanted to love it but the shoulders pads are more extreme in person. The material isn't quite as solid/rigid as I would expect from this style of jacket which isn't necessarily bad but the softness will tend toward a less structured look, in my opinion. It is cozy just not exactly what I was looking for so planning on sending back. If the shoulder pads weren't so extreme, I would have liked the jacket a little better.
