Solid!

Although I have not carried it onto an aircraft yet, it appears to be exactly what I need for both super shirt trips but more importantly long, long layovers. Solid construction and looks like it will weather well. Zippers are a bit stiff but I'll assume they will ease up with some usage. I returned the 14L for the larger and it's great!

Great bag, great warranty, use it for every type of travel!

I bought the Travel Pack on kickstarter back in 2017 and have loved it since the day I got it. This is my replacement. Used it for all types of trips since I am a very light packer. Works perfect as my personal item and I still have the option for a separate carryon. I also use it as a daypack when I am traveling. It is sleek and looks great. Check out the video as I venture through an alley with it on. The zipper broke and the warranty claim was easy.

This is it. Done backpack shopping

I can't express how helpful this has been already as a commuter when riding the bus and short trips away from home. I have a friend who has had one for years. He wore his out and loved it so much he couldn't stop using it even when the zipper busted. Some years later he was told that Nomatic did replacements and even unaware as he was he reached out to see if it was true, sure enough, they took care of him and he got a new replacement bag to continue is life-long love of this travel pack. Well, after that lifetime guarantee story I figured it worth the expense and I now can't imagine getting any other backpack. Even considering buying the smaller one for my kids and maybe even this one for the one going off to college. It's just plain good and hits every mark I would hope for in a bag. yeah, it's a bit on the big side, but so what! It works and I proudly wear it walking all over the place getting from A to B. If I really wanted looks to matter I'd get the smaller version, but function is my thing and it functions with perfection. (well. . . that glasses case lid in the bag seems to come off easily, but otherwise perfect. :-D

A reliable bag

Got this bag just in time for a 12 day trip to EU. I used it as a carry on in case my luggage got lost. I was able to fit a change of clothes, some tennis shoes, an IPAD, a jacket and a shaving kit. I pretty much tested the zippers and the unit to the max and it held up well. It got a bit more broken in as the trip went on and was easier to get closed. Tight fit for as much stuff as I put in it but overall I was happy with the product. Would recommend

Good bag but the zipper gets stuck

The backpack looks great — very aesthetic and I love the size, it's perfect for daily use and short trips. However, the zippers are a bit disappointing. They feel stiff and sometimes get stuck, which makes opening and closing the bag frustrating at times. For the price I paid, I expected the zippers to work smoothly and flawlessly. Overall, I like the bag, but the zipper quality doesn't quite match the rest of the build. . .

Travel Pack May 2025

Love the fabric & materials used. Vast field of pockets. Spectacular storage capability & flexibility. I bought it to travel with 2 laptops (13" & 15"), 2 cellphones, a leather portfolio filled with papers, a notebook, 4 power adapters, a miniature mouse, cables, pens, thumb drives, a few small tools, business cards, masks, mints, bottle opener. . . all that stuff. It's packed to the gills & I wish there was a bit more room, I'm forced to pack some of my stuff in my suitcase. Would've been pleased to see a carabiner on the retractable key loop (most keys are on loops, crazy to connect 2 loops together, annoying to de-couple later). A name tag should've been included with a loop on the back of the bag to tie it to. It's still the nicest backpack I've ever owned & I've had dozens over the years. If you can swing the price, it's worth it.
