Sadly this Birthday present failed to impress.

This was a Birthday gift from my son and I was looking forward to using it. I have tried it everyday for a month but unfortunately I have not been able to give myself a decent shave. I do not have a beard so cannot comment. The blade which I have used both wet and dry does not remove all stubble and stating that a blade lasts approximately four months ( if used twice a week ) suggests that this razor is aimed at the beard market. The electrical part is excellent and looks good but sadly I am having to go back to wet shaving blades.

Not suitable for shavers those used regular blades

I have been using traditional blade more than 25 years. Tried to switch to one blade but what my experience was every time it took 20 min and still no clean shave have to use regular blade so after 4 attempts I quit using this product. Might be useful for trimming purposes but for the regular clean shave still the traditional razer with blade is the best !!.. request Phillips to launch product for clean shave users.

While I like the new, more flexible head, it is flimsier than the fixed one, so I broke one already. Since I only get two blades in a pack now, I am down to just one blade. I wish the original fixed blades were still an option
