Rough shaving head edges

Would prefer the shaving heads to be closer together to stop the head edges snagging / hooking along the jaw line.

NO recharge plug!

I have used Norelco shavers for 30 plus years. All have had electric plugs. Those one h connect has a USB connection. As an 89 yr old. THIS IS unexceptable. ALSO, it does not seem to be as close a shave as other Norelcos.

Best current rotary shaver at a reasonable price.

I bought this to replace my 25 year old 8894 which was the best and most amazing shaver I have ever owned. It is in fact still working. The series 5000 comes very close in shaving terms but the 8894 is much easier to clean.

Better than expected.

I selected this rating due to the fact the razor shaved closer than I expected. The charge time is short and the trimmer does a great job. I have used a blade my entire life but I recommend this razor.

Phillips 5000 very close shave.

The Phillips 5000 series, wet and dry shaver gives a very close shave indeed, probably 97% as close as a razor. It is very comfortable too hold and has a sideburn trimmer built in, so no taking the head off to fit it. I. Love it much more than my old one.

Close, smooth, comfortable

My Norelco was OLD…really old. I hadn’t replaced the blades in three years, so, needless to say, I wasn’t getting good shaves. This new razor fantastic. Effortless close, comfortable shaves. It’s great.
