Other occasion to buy:Absolutely gorgeous fine china is a pure white with platinum rim

Beautiful & pairs with my Mikasa Palatial Platinum

I host a very large Thanksgiving each year on fine china & white tablecloths (up to 60 people) and although I still have and love the Mikasa Palatial Platinum fine china that I have from my wedding, I only have 19 dinner plates. So each year I rent plates for the extras. I decided that renting is a waste of money since I do this yearly and I should just buy plates since they are easy to store. However the Mikasa ones are $40 EACH!!!! So I began looking for an alternative that would closely match and even more importantly be beautiful and classy. These plates are GORGEOUS!!! Beautifully made, heavy and high quality. The platinum/silver rim is beautiful and hasn't tarnished even though I run these through the dishwasher (I hate handwashing!) And a FRACTION of the price of the Mikasa! I see no reason why anyone would every buy anything else these are absolutely fabulous plates.
